Rainer’s journey into the world of video production began with a passion for acting. It was a high school film class, however, that sparked his drive to bring ideas to life on screen. Starting out as a compliance editor at a national broadcast channel, he quickly advanced to the creative department, where he learned the importance of strong leadership, teamwork, and the freedom to push creative boundaries. Soon after, he joined a corporate video production company, honing his craft in the camera department and working his way up to the director of photography role. In 2019, Rainer founded Create Right with a vision to produce unique, authentic video content that makes an impact across the Sunshine Coast and beyond.
Along with working in the production company, Rainer is an accomplished narrative filmmaker, recently completing a full draft of his first feature-length film script. His latest award-winning short, Joey Goes for a Swim, co-directed with Shane Keeffe, is currently making the rounds at film festivals. Known for his relentless optimism and enthusiasm for creative storytelling, Rainer brings the same adventurous spirit to his personal projects as he does to commercial productions. Whether rock climbing, practicing calisthenics, or playing acoustic guitar, Rainer is always exploring new challenges—and he brings this energy to every project, ensuring each piece of video content he produces is as vibrant as the team behind it.
